The Kingston Farmers Market was founded in 2000 by the Kingston Uptown Business Association. The original goal was to draw people to Uptown Kingston on Saturdays. Over time, we’ve evolved into more; we’re fostering a sense of community, where people come together to shop, talk and learn.

Our mission is to:

Support the community, socially, physically and economically

Provide a balance of fresh produce and related products from the Mid-Hudson region

Maintain regional family farms by providing a local farm market outlet

Give educational opportunities to people that visit and share in our market endeavor

Laura Crimmins

Laura has been working in both Hudson Valley agriculture and events management for many years. She is devoted to fostering and promoting lifestyle changes that support local seasonal eating and wellness to enrich our lives and community. She spends her other working hours managing CSA distribution, on a field crew, and designing graphic materials. You may have seen her at past markets chasing a 4 foot tall blond whirlwind with two arms loaded with local farm goodies.

Suzanne Flaum

Suzanne has always believed that springtime in the Hudson Valley is the most beautiful place on the planet. Born and grown in the region, she brings professional and academic experience in farm viability and local emergency food systems to her role as the market’s Site Manager. Suzanne looks forward to building valuable relationships with vendors and Kingston community members. In her spare time, you can find her teaching kids’ gymnastics, reading on her front porch, or hanging with her scaredy dog, Cat.
