The Kingston Farmers Market was founded in 2000 by the Kingston Uptown Business Association. The original goal was to draw people to Uptown Kingston on Saturdays. Over time, we’ve evolved into more; we’re fostering a sense of community, where people come together to shop, talk and learn.

Our mission is to:

Support the community, socially, physically and economically

Provide a balance of fresh produce and related products from the Mid-Hudson region

Maintain regional family farms by providing a local farm market outlet

Give educational opportunities to people that visit and share in our market endeavor

Katy Kondrat

Katy has been committed to promoting local agriculture since her first year in college at SUNY New Paltz when she started the group Students for Sustainable Agriculture. Since then she has run a winter farmers’ market, managed a 1,000 member winter CSA and currently also works at the Hudson Valley Farm Hub. Katy started managing the Kingston Farmers’ Market in October 2014 and is excited to be working to support Hudson Valley farmers and producers. You can reach Katy at katy@kingstonfarmersmarket.org

Rob Begley

robRob is a lifelong Hudson Valley resident, and has been an active participant in the farmers market community. Rob is a proud father of two young boys, and has taken an active role in their diets and natural organic food. Robs prior management experience and love of our local vendors brought him to the Kingston Market this year. Rob started in June of 2015 and is incredibly excited to contribute to a smooth and prosperous market this season.
